hyper.play is the first game jam for hyper casual games ever organized in Romania.

A hyper-casual game is a mobile video game which is easy-to-play and usually free-to-play; they also feature very minimalistic user interfaces.

Anyone who wants to participate in game jam, should register through this website until the event is sold out. You will receive a link to Opening Webinar in Zoom before the event.

The general topic of the game jam is hyper casual games. The specific theme or a restriction will be announced during the Opening Webinar in Pine. Only hyper-casual games that fit the theme will be accepted.

During the opening webinar, you will be introduced to mentors who will be ready to answer your questions, consult and guide you through specified communications channels (discord) during the mentorship hours on March 19-20, 2022

All teams are expected to submit a playable version of their game before the judging starts (the exact time when you should submit your project will be announced at Opening Webinar).

You must share any code and assets used for creating the game that you are legally allowed to share without breaking any other legal agreements. Don’t share any code belonging to your employer or anyone else other than yourself, or upload anything that is under NDA or other legal constraint.

5-7 days after the game jam. The exact date will be announced at the end of the game jam, depending on the number of the submitted games.
